Perched up on the edge of the valley lies Ngoma Safari Lodge; the view of the Chobe River and the open floodplains from the vantage of your private room and plunge pool is unrivalled in the area. Expect brilliant personal guided safaris through the park in the morning, lazy afternoons by the pool and stunning dinners under African stars. River cruises, game drives, game walks and picnics in the bush are on offer for those keen on exploring the Chobe River.
Sometimes guests just prefer to stay in bed, because the view over the Chobe River from the Ngoma rooms, of herds of elephant, buffalo, giraffe, and other plains game, can sometimes turn up more wildlife than anywhere else in the park.

Ngoma’s thatched buildings are all made from natural materials and blend seamlessly with their surroundings. Ethnic fabrics, building material and artefacts provide a local touch. The lodge is also positioned to give guests unsurpassed views over the legendary Chobe River with many opportunities to see elephants, zebra and buffalo grazing on the floodplain.
The central area of the lodge houses the reception area, lounge, dining room, bar and a plunge pool. A well-positioned viewing deck gives guests a perfect setting from which to enjoy a beautifully prepared evening meal with views over a floodlit waterhole frequented by elephants, zebra, antelope and other game. The lodge has eight private suites, two of which have Indian day beds and may be used as triples.
