Selinda Reserve is a 320 000-acre private concession in northern Botswana. Once a prime hunting spot, the reserve has been transformed into a wildlife sanctuary headed up by a passionate group of conservationists.
Selinda is located on the Selinda Spillway. Although the spillway is usually dry, the area still boasts a wide array of wildlife, all viewable from some of the finest and most exclusive safari lodges in the country.The reserve boasts species the likes of lion, leopard, giraffe, waterbuck and cheetah. Endangered species such as the wild dog can also be spotted. There is also an abundance of bird life throughout the reserve.
