Sango Safari Camp is a traditional tented camp set amongst one of the greatest regions to observe Botswana’s spectacular wildlife.

Sango Safari Camp is nestled in the shade of the trees overlooking the Khwai River. Situated on the outskirts of the traditional village of Khwai and bordering Moremi Game Reserve, the camp offers guests the perfect base from which to explore the wildlife and culture of this unique habitat.

The Khwai area offers a unique variety of safari experiences due to its ideal position on the edge of the Okavango Delta. Although this region is known as the drier part of the Okavango Delta, the presence of the Khwai river provides a year-round water source attracting one of the most fantastic wildlife concentrations in Botswana, and allows Sango Safari Camp to offer both land-based and water-based activities.

Developed on the outskirts of the quaint village of Khwai, Sango Safari Camp offers a unique encounter with the local community and leads you right to the heart of Botswana.

Sango Safari Camp Reviews

“We stayed there for two nights and enjoyed it very much. Staffs were very kind, rooms were clean and comfy while kept their African charm. The trip was for our anniversary and the last night there after coming back from our game drive we found a bottle of champagne waiting for us in our room!” – Homeira39

“We had such an amazing time at Sango Camp at the end of our trip it was so sad leaving. Our guide, Dennis was fantastic! On our first day we saw so many animals and he even took us out on a late night drive where we saw a bush baby, herds of elephants, giraffe and so on.” – Ella R

“We stayed here last month for 2 nights. This is a wonderful and intimate lodge. Its tents all face a small river where hippos are always present. (can be a bit noisy at night as they do not eat quietly!). Elephants roam nearby and are present for most of the time. We were welcomed by the staff upon our arrival with a welcome song. We were promptly shown our quarters; beautiful tent with wooden floors. Spotless, very comfortable mattresses, pillows and sheets. ” – outofottawa
