Linyanti Ebony Camp is the place for family and friends to enjoy the wildlife experience in comfort and luxury
Situated adjacent to Linyanti Bush Camp, Linyanti Ebony Camp is in a private concession on the banks of Linyanti Marsh which borders the western boundary of Chobe in the Chobe Enclave. The marshes are the only water source for miles around and attract water-adapted and desert-adapted wildlife, as well as large numbers of birds.

The well–appointed tents all have en-suite facilities with a shower and flushing toilet, a comfortable sofa with a writing desk, chest of drawers and a cupboard.
Built on raised decking overlooking the Linyanti Marsh, this new 8-bedded intimate tented camp offers you stunning views of the Linyanti River. Accommodation and room Types
Linyanti Ebony Camp is a tiny and marvelously intimate property with four large tents. Each is equipped with an adjoining bathroom with shower and flushing toilet. The décor is luxurious and ensures great comfort without distracting from the magnificent views of the river and swamp. When not out game viewing, guests can cool off in the small pool or relax in the central mess tent and library. You will enjoy delicious meals under the stars or, if that’s not possible, in the mess tent.
There are three luxuriously appointed twin tents that sleep two with en suite bathrooms that feature hot-running water, showers and flush toilets. The tents are spaced far apart from each other to ensure privacy. The fourth tent is larger and is suitable for families or honeymooners. Its bathroom has a bathtub for decadent soaking after a long nature walk.
At Linyanti Ebony Camp, there is a careful balance between providing a luxurious guest experience and maintaining the down-to-earth wholesomeness of the bush. The emphasis is firmly on experiencing the Linyanti Channel via mokoro and boat rides, as well helicopter flips. A ‘digital detox’ is guaranteed as there is no Internet or cellphone coverage but there is solar power and a recharging station for camera equipment. Linyanti Ebony Camp has a plunge pool and a complimentary laundry service. Meals are taken communally at Linyanti Ebony so that all 10 guests can get to know each other and share their tales of the bush. Tuck into delicious meals with whimsical touches like crocodile-shaped bread! The chef is able to accommodate food preferences, such as gluten intolerance, in the daily menu.
Linyanti Ebony Camp in Botswana is renowned for its outstanding game and in particular the large concentration of elephant and wildebeest found in the area. These animals are attracted to the Linyanti Swamps in huge numbers, especially in the dry season. You are also very likely to encounter lion, leopard, wild dog, hippo, crocodile and a wealth of birdlife. Linyanti Ebony Camp Reviews
“We stayed at the Linyanti Ebony Camp, a recently opened intimate camp with just four tents close to the main Linyanti Bush Camp. Clara, Ese and their team gave us a warm welcome to Botswana and really made us feel at home. It was the perfect location for an authentic wild safari experience as it was far away from the main tourist routes.” – Th16
“As there are only 6 tents at Linyanti you really feel at home the minute you arrive. The staff are very happy and jolly, a lovely atmosphere. The tents are the real thing with zipper and petroleum light at night which makes it very romantic. All the mod cons are in the tent including shower and toilet and the beds are very comfortable.” – traveller1Vienna
“Linyanti Ebony Camp is a small, family friendly, exclusive camp (and part of the Linyanti Bush Camp). My daughter and i spent 4 nights there in April and had a fantastic time. We were picked up from the air strip and went straight on safari in the Chobe National Park. Within 20 minutes we had seen elephants, zebra, giraffe and lions. We were welcomed to the camp by all the staff and were looked after from the time we got up until we went to bed by our wonderful guide (Butler), the camp interim manager (Violet) and periodically by the staff. The room was luxurious, we loved our out door bath and the food and hospitality were spectacular.” – V15L
