Chobe Savanna Lodge is situated in the eastern Caprivi of Namibia, on the northern bank of the Chobe River.

The main building is thatched and open-sided, featuring a spectacular 270-degree view over the Chobe River and reserve, where game such as antelope, buffalo and hippo are free to roam.

Spend the day in the swimming pool, or relax in the open boma, where you can admire the animals and landscape around you. Alternatively, enjoy a day of outdoor activities, including guided nature walks and boat excursions to allow you to explore the surrounding area and do a spot of fishing.

Chobe Savanna Lodge Reviews

“Our rooms overlooked the river and were able to see beautiful sunrise and sunsets. The staff sung a welcome song that made us feel very emotional and special. Thus, the hospitality and food was amazing with John, Alfred and Connie pampering us. The time spent on the river was just as wonderful, we were able to relax and enjoy the birds and animals along the banks of the Chobe river.” –xmz2012

“Loved this Island hideaway in Namibia. We had the Lodge to ourselves and the staff were amazing. Our room overlooked the river and each morning we were greeted by the view of a large buffalo heard, a herd of elephants and on the last morning a pod of hippos grazing on the opposite bank of the river. The hospitality and food were amazing!” –mkeith57

“My husband and I ended our three week trip to Africa with a two night stay at Chobe Savanna Lodge. What a wonderful, relaxing way to finish our trip! A little weary after weeks of hitting various destinations in South Africa and Botswana, we were able to totally unwind, relax, and feel pampered at Chobe Savanna Lodge, thanks to John and his gracious staff.” –Terri B
